Located in the
shadows of the White Tank Mountains, Arizona Traditions is a
golf and country club community built by Continental Homes. It
is built on property that has been used for three of the most
important industries in Arizona’s history: ranching,
agriculture, and water delivery. The developer has incorporated
aspects of this history, which are evident the moment you drive
through the gated entrance.
The historical details such as the golf clubhouse, which was
designed in the agricultural character of the local cotton gins,
and the golf course with its parkland design, are from a time
long ago. The grand ballroom located at the community center
would rival many of the dance halls of the past and even the
sales pavilion, with its wrap-around porch is reminiscent of the
original Phoenix Country Club.
For the golf enthusiast, the par-70 Dick Bailey designed golf
course with its gently rolling terrain and mature pine trees
lining the fairways is a true test. The course was designed in
the traditional parkland style of older courses where fairways
are adjacent to each other instead of having homes on both
sides.
After the game, visit the 7000 sq. ft. clubhouse to relax with a
cold refreshment or food from the outdoor grill. Arizona
Traditions residents are offered discounted golf fees and have a
minimum of one-day priority for tee time reservations over the
general public.
If golf isn’t to your special liking, there are a number of
other activities to choose from including tennis, horseshoes,
and pickleball. The private community center, with over 24,000
square feet under roof, offers residents a wealth of social,
educational, and athletic activities. |
There is a full
time activities director and staff to assist in woodworking,
ceramics, sewing, stained glass, painting, cooking, dancing, and
computer classes. You will also find a library, classroom,
ballroom, card and social room, locker rooms, pool, spa, steam
rooms, and tennis courts.
There are numerous activities held in the grand ballroom and it
is a great way to meet new friends. You can also enjoy some time
relaxing by the new resort style swimming pool or meeting
friends in the sports bar to watch the large screen television.
Arizona Traditions also offers the only fitness center sponsored
by the Arizona Heart Institute.
The facility features state-of-the-art fitness equipment and
training programs. Throughout the year, doctors, nutritionists
and other staff from the institute offer special programs,
seminars, and an annual health fair to assist residents with
their health needs and take a positive step to a healthier
future.
Continental Homes offers flexible floor plans with such features
as whirlpool tubs, built-in television alcoves, hardwood floors,
vaulted ceilings and granite countertops. There are 10 floor
plans ranging in price from $190s to the $280s.
Other additions include an expanded design center and seven
serene water features, which promote a calming park-like
atmosphere. Arizona Traditions has a master planned layout with
a community focus developed to encourage friendship. Let us show
you the small-town feel and relaxed atmosphere of Arizona
Traditions.
