Arizona TraditionsA Neighborhood Community You Will Want To Call HomeLocated in the shadows of the White Tank Mountains, Arizona Traditions is a golf and country club community built by Continental Homes. It is built on property that has been used for three of the most important industries in Arizona's history: ranching, agriculture, and water delivery. The developer has incorporated aspects of this history, which are evident the moment you drive through the gated entrance. The historical details such as the golf clubhouse, which was designed in the agricultural character of the local cotton gins, and the golf course with its parkland design, are from a time long ago. The grand ballroom located at the community center would rival many of the dance halls of the past and even the sales pavilion, with its wrap-around porch is reminiscent of the original Phoenix Country Club. For the golf enthusiast, the par-70 Dick Bailey designed golf course with its gently rolling terrain and mature pine trees lining the fairways is a true test. The course was designed in the traditional parkland style of older courses where fairways are adjacent to each other instead of having homes on both sides. After the game, visit the 7000 sq. ft. clubhouse to relax with a cold refreshment or food from the outdoor grill. Arizona Traditions residents are offered discounted golf fees and have a minimum of one-day priority for tee time reservations over the general public. If golf isn't to your special liking, there are a number of other activities to choose from including tennis, horseshoes, and pickleball. The private community center, with over 24,000 square feet under roof, offers residents a wealth of social, educational, and athletic activities. There is a full time activities director and staff to assist in woodworking, ceramics, sewing, stained glass, painting, cooking, dancing, and computer classes. You will also find a library, classroom, ballroom, card and social room, locker rooms, pool, spa, steam rooms, and tennis courts.
